Wilbur T. Pruitt, 70, of 386 Catherine Street, Lebanon, died at 3pm Saturday June 13, 1981 at Breech Medical Center. He is survived by 3 sons, Wilmer, of Florida, Danny of Lebanon,Garry of Roswell, NM; 2 daughters Pat Henderson of Lebanon,and Hazel of Roswell,NM; one brother, Clifford of Richland; one sister Lillian Osborn of Lebanon; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 2pm Tuesday at Holman Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Osborn officiating. Burial will be at Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 pm tonight at the funeral home.

Patricia M. Angst, 60, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2008, at St. John's Hospital-Springfield. She was born Oct. 10, 1947, in Lebanon, to Claude O. Cromer and Hazel Kirksey Cromer, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Williams, her adopted father, Wilbur Pruitt and a grandson, William Wagoner.
On Dec. 24, 1965, she married Ben Henderson and in April of 1982 she married Oliver Angst.
She was a convenience store clerk.

Kermit "Buster" Pruitt, son of Kermit Leo and Ferba Arther Pruitt, was born July 10, 1946, in Los Angeles, California. He departed this life Tuesday, May 8, 2007, in St. John's Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty years, nine months, and twenty-eight days.
On August 16, 1969, he was united in marriage to Ina Pauline Wilson, and to this union one daughter and one son were born.
His parents preceded him in death.
"Buster", as he was called by his family and friends, is survived by his wife, Pauline, of the home; a daughter, Tonya Williams, of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Travis Pruitt, and his wife, Stacie, of Lebanon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Elizabeth and Timmy Pruitt, and Cody Williams; a sister, Sue Ann Ballard, and her husband, O.C., of Crestview, Florida; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born in California, but lived most of his life in the Lebanon and Camdenton, Missouri areas. He and Pauline were married in 1969, and lovingly raised their family. Buster worked in automobile body repair and painting throughout his life, and had been affiliated with several car dealerships in this area.
Buster had made his profession of belief in Christ and followed the Baptist faith.
In his spare time he liked anything that had to do with cars, including building stock cars, going to car shows, cruising around in old cars, especially his 1952 Chevy, and watching NASCAR races. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
Buster was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. His family and friends will hold tight to the memories he has made for them and will remember him always.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial will be in the Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.

Robert M. McShane 1891-1984
Robert M. McShane, son of Benjamin and Alice McClure McShane, was born October 23, 1891 in Laclede County, Missouri and departed this life on March 24, 1984 at his home in Stoutland. He had been in poor health for several years.
On November 12, 1912 he was united in marriage with Lula Hillhouse in what is now the Orville Stone home. To this union were born two daughters, both surviving. His wife preceded him in death September 28, 1955.
Rob, as he was known to friends, owned a café in Stoutland for several years and for 32 years he owned and operated the McShane Grocery in Stoutland where he made many friends.
He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Bernice Dewitt, Livermore, Colorado and Mrs. Arlene Loose, Phrump, Nevada; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; also a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roy L. McShane and David F. McShane.
Services were held Tuesday, March 27, 1984, 2:00 p.m. at Stoutland United Methodist Church.
Music was provided by Lloyd Jones, soloist and DeLores Shadel, accompanist.
Escorts were: Mack Clark, Durrell Goodwin, Steve Hoffman, Tunney Allee, Leon Builderback and Ray Roark.
Honorary escorts were: Guy Begley, Don Crabtree, James Evans, Orville Houser and Orville Stone.
Burial was in the Stoutland Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapel.
